What You’ll Do:

• Preparing and distributing accurate meeting minutes

• Maintaining key organizational documents

• Filing required records with the Corporate Registry, and supporting effective board governance

• The Secretary serves on the Executive Committee and plays a key role in keeping the board organized, informed, and accountable.

Time Commitment:

• Board meetings: once per week for 1-hour

• Advisory Committee Meetings: once per quarter

• Annual General Meeting: once per year

• Prep/admin work: 10-15hrs per month

The Treasurer oversees the financial health of the Digital Bridge Society by managing budgets, monitoring income and expenses, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Providing regular financial updates to the Board

• Overseeing day-to-day financial operations

• Filing required financial and tax reports

• Supporting sound financial decision-making

• Ensure the organization’s funds are managed responsibly and transparently.

Time Commitment:

• Board meetings: once per quarter for 1 hour

• Annual General Meeting: once per year

• Routine admin: approximately 1–2 hours per month (light bookkeeping, tracking expenses, responding to financial queries)

• Tax season and AGM prep: approximately 3–5 additional hours total per year

• One-time onboarding: 1–2 hours
