Workshops

As you explore our workshop ideas, please know they are evolving and community-driven.

We see them as a starting point, shaped by the voices of those we serve. Feel free to share your feedback.

Digital Learning + Community Connection

We design our workshops to be more than just classes; they’re community experiences built around reciprocal learning. Each session has two parts:

  1. Digital Learning: Volunteers guide older adults through key digital basics, building confidence and practical skills in a supportive environment.

  2. Community Connection: After the lesson, we set aside time for socializing through a shared hobby or activity (plus tea and treats!). This creates space for older adults to share their own life knowledge and experiences with volunteers, fostering conversation, mutual respect, and intergenerational connection.

This two-part structure helps ensure that participants not only leave with new digital skills, but also with a deeper sense of belonging, confidence, and community.
